– Before heading to China for the first time as well as hitting France to play alongside Kid Congo Powers and Ty Segall, Jamie Hutchings will take his recently christened backing band on a short three-city run. Bassist Reuben Wills and drummer/brother Scott Hutchings will now back Hutchings as The Goldfish Memories, and they’ll split their sets between last year’s Avalon Cassettes and “more noise-rock-influenced material both from his Bluebottle Kiss days and a forthcoming, to-be-recorded album,” according to a press release. Hutchings is also celebrating the digital release of his back catalogue, both solo and with Bluebottle Kiss.
