Key notes: First release from Los Angeles-based Brisbane artist Tom Hall since Let’s Get It Straight. Comes after “a number of life-altering experiences, including intercontinental moves, marriage, death and immersion into a culture more known for destroying dreams than making them.” Hall takes “the sound to new dominions whilst maintaining its trademark distorted synths and ambient passages.” Features cameos from Tammy Brennan and JZH. Closing track ‘Dark Cut’ already available for free download. Single coming later this month.

Right... This is not really a big deal, but it's bugging me a bit right now. Is Axxonn-Tom Hall (from Brisbane, now LA) the same dude as SoundArtist-Tom Hall (born Tas, now LA)? I remember someone telling me they were different people and the source of endless confusion (akin to Ben Frost and Ben Frost).
