Mess+Noise 2006 Critics' Poll Results

The votes are in. The writers and staff of Mess+Noise have chosen their favourite Australian releases of 2006 and topping the pile is Gala Mill, by Melbourne quartet The Drones. Full results and commentary can be found inside issue #11 of Mess+Noise magazine, out nationally on Monday, but for now here’s the top 20 to consider.

Check back tomorrow for the results of the Mess+Noise Users’ Poll for Best Australian Release of 2006 (and it has a different winner than this list), while Friday brings the results for Best Australian Artwork of 2006.
