Swanno dropped the budget. How was the crab? How was the chicken?

Apart from some shitty measures, eg asylum seeker blowout, cuts to overseas aid, no newstart increase - I'm actually coming around to thinking this might be a good budget. It's almost like Swan, Gillard and the labor mob have decided, 'shit, we are the labor party, let's at least try to claw back some of those forgotten values that used to exist in our party'.

It probably won't win them an election, but I'm glad there wasn't a bunch of expensive sweeteners to gain votes.

The NDIS/DisabilityCare reform should and will go down in history as one the great Australian reforms. I'm almost willing to vote for them just in response to that.
