Dark Meat is before Ace Rock - I stumbled upon them reading youknowhere. That does explain the Frankie Knuckles tracks - I do want more, so mission accomplished re:mixtape. The reason I asked about Steve Reich is that some of the stuff on there reminded me of him - the psychedelic repetition. Glad you liked the David Cross the 'I like inside, inside's a good concept' gets me every-time. :-P
