Blissful order and bristling chaos coexist in this week’s roundup of Soundcloud offerings.

– Andrew Tuttle continues to mine ambient, repetitious bliss as Anonymeye. His latest album is the self-explanatory Six Improvisations for Computer and Guitar, which came out late last year through Perth label Twice Removed. It’s on 3” CD-R limited to 150 copies, but is also available digitally. Download the lovely ‘Two’ for free below. Also, catch Anonymeye on Saturday, February 9 at Melbourne’s Grace Darling Hotel as part of label Birds Love Fighting’s packed Gangbusters bill, and the following night (Feb 10) at Gasometer for Supernaturalist, a Sunday-night summer series combining live music with nature documentaries.

– ‘Cuda 82’ is the clatter-happy lead track from Ex Con’s three-song 7”. The Brisbane-formed post-punk quartet here comprises Slug Guts’ James Dalgliesh on guitar and caterwauling vocalist Joanna Nilson (Butcher Birds) plus bassist Catherine Maddin (Dreamtime) and drummer Alex Dunlop (Lovely Legs). There have since been lineup changes – enter Steph Cola (Spite House, Concrete Life) and Andrea Blake (Chrome Dome) – and a move to Melbourne. These songs were recorded live after-hours at Brisbane's Woodland Bar by Blank Realm’s Luke Walsh, “accompanied by a bottle of Captain Morgan, a Holy Grail reverb pedal and some extra long Rizlas.” It’s out February 11 through Bon Voyage and can be pre-ordered here on vinyl and digital. It’s limited to 200 copies, so grab it while you can.

– Melbourne quartet Bad Vision do the garage-punk thing with as much fixation on big, bristling melodies as on scrappy momentum. ‘Visions’ is half of a fantastic double A-side 7” released last December and mixed and mastered, fittingly, by Mikey Young. It follows a demo EP and previews a debut album planned for late this year. Very promising.

– ‘Any Other Day’ is a typically disorienting yet pop-soaked track from Nimble Animal, a.k.a. Melbourne singer/experimenter Dominic Stephens. It can be found on last year’s free album Dumb Dirge. Swimming with woozy electronic layers, the self-produced debut LP came out last July through Hipbones/Fallopian Tunes but is still well worth an introduction.
